Some of the background on Augie, a loving Irish Setter was that he had penned a letter to then Governor of Illinois, Jim Thompson. To much the surprise of Augie and the owner, Mr. Thompson did reply back...making Augie a bit of a celebrity hound!

Having grown up right smack dab in the middle of ole Abraham Lincoln's stomping grounds I have never lacked for ideas or inspiration being. I have always been creative, selling my wares as I go. I have worked with wood and restored antiques which in turn began a love of reclaimed & repurposed items. I am facinated with the story that lies within a piece, unkown at first glance.
